NF-An indicator of the number of threads per inch on a bolt referred to as National Fine.  National Fine will have  more threads per inch on a bolt than a National Course bolt.

Nitrogen Oxide-A type of engine pollutant produced when the internal combustion temperatures of an engine reach 2,200-2,500 degrees Fahrenheit.

Nitrogen in Tires-Tires that are inflated with nitrogen maintain tires pressures better, reduce leakage, and last longer, especially in extreme applications.  Many trucks, military vehicles and high performance applications use nitrogen instead of air to inflate the tires.  Also, nitrogen is becoming more popular in passenger vehicles.
