Product Name: Universal Linear Actuators-Trunk
Product Description: This assembly includes two, 8 inch linear or straight line actuators (8 inches of travel). They are both electrically controlled by either a push button on the center console, or a remote push button attached to the key chain. There is a push button for opening and another push button for closing the trunk lid. During installation, identifying the exact location of the upper and lower mounts will determine the amount of opening. For example, if the upper mounts were moved to the right in the photo, or further away from the trunk hinges, the trunk lid would not open as far. If the upper mounts were moved to the left or closer to the trunk hinges, the trunk lid would open more, but require more force. For best results, position the upper and lower mounts so that the linear actuators are as close as possible to being perpendicular to the trunk lid during most of the trunk lid opening.
